Friend,
Around 2010, I was heading to the Clearview AMC and found myself on I-10 just past the 17th St Canal. It was raining and windy, but nothing noteworthy. Then all of a sudden traffic came to a complete stop. The sky turned white and visibility was less than five feet as the rain came down heavier than I have ever seen it. You could say it was white out conditions. Then the wind came. It blew as hard as I remember the hardest winds in Katrina. I was in father’s Jaguar, which he loaned to me while he was out of town, stopped in traffic, began shimmying to the north ever so slightly. And then suddenly, as quickly as it had come, it was gone. Everyone carried on.
The next day I read in the TP that an F0 had passed through Metairie and flipped over a box truck on Severn as it made its way east. I surmised it was probably the cause of the heavy wind and rain.
Yours,
TulaneLSU

Dont know how religious this guy is but he seemed to find religion real quick towards the end.

Exactly the same as stretching out over a cliff for a selfie.
We call that culling or thinning the herd.

I think the Lord was trying to tell them they are idiots and need to find a new hobby.

I can’t decide if they’re stupid or if they just have brass balls.
I have a storm chaser tape somewhere that was pretty cool. The AFM track kept Dropping out but when it worked the sound of the storm and commotion sounded great in stereo.

I really do believe the good Lord gives these people the SMH meme when they are praying to deliver them from their own stupidity.

Dear Lord, save us from our own stupidity...

So... What happened to them? Injuries? Did they quit chasing tornados?
Posted on 10/4/23 at 9:44 am to BluegrassBelle
I hope whenever it's my time, I'm not stuck in a situation with someone yelling/crying that much in my last moments.

95% of storm chasers are queers with no idea what they're doing. Social media has made the practice explode.
