Saw that earlier.
That is 100% classic, "More money than brains"
Dafuq are people doing driving those around the swamps of Louisiana.
And no, the Redneck Riviera is not high class. Just people with more money that brains..

Wow. 1350 Hp? I wonder how long they will run before blowing up.

Those catamarans have a tendency to run flat, my guess the captain trimmed it down too low in the turn and at 130mph causing it to hook ejecting the passengers..
Who was it that said an object in motion stays in motion…
He was fortunate just to have his ear ripped off.. I can only imagine what it’s like hitting the water at 130..

They were thrown out before the boat hit the land...
Hence, the captain didn't have his kill switch hooked to him.
From the OP...
Bruh, a boat that size going 130 would be that far up the bank even if his kill switch was on

This. That’s a boat for something like Lake Tahoe

Depends on how far off the bank they were Bruh…
You realize the weight to that thing…
When not running catamarans sit low in the water, especially fresh water..

You ever Prop Stop or Sun Bun's baw? Lake Ponchartrain & Maurepas are pretty big lakes too. Lots of string bikinis, white cans, and blow to be had down south too baw.

Tickfaw is a couple hundred yards wide, max. They were less than 100 yards from the bank.

Jealous of nothing. I have an OT 9 wife, great kids, nice house, large bank/investment accounts, successful businesses, and I’m a very attractive human being as well. Sometimes you just get dealt the right cards. I guess the only thing working against me is that I’m a white cis-gendered shitlord.

I mean, I guess its possible. You pull a kill switch at speed and its like pulling a ripcord on a parachute. Couple that with the boat hooking (turning sharp) enough to throw people out and its tough to imagine it making that turn and going that far up onto land while not under power.

Buddy of mine (Paul Tracy) raced in the CART and in the Indy Car Series has a 40' Skater with twin Mercury 1350's and has run it 166 mph. Gorgeous boat and that thing is scary fast. He's taking it to Lake Havasu this weekend for the Desert Storm Poker Run, where some boats are brought in from across the western US semi trucks/trailers. His previous boat was a DCB and I was with him in 2017 when he had it going 159 mph (see attached video). The next year a local married couple flipped their DCB on Havasu and died. Love speed but that's not for me.

This is mine.

I've got a buddy with a similar Skater. The amount of engineering that goes into those things is insane.
Guy spends more time working on it than he does using it. Upkeep costs must be almost the price of the boat over time.
I'll keep my ski boat.
