Oops double post. The manner of his death pisses me off, considering she's a professional drunk. This was not an "accident" this was an inevitability. And now some other family has to pay the bill. It just drives me freaking crazy.

They will stick her back in jail, and she'll go on trial for everything at the same time. Pretty easy to understand
-------------------------------------------------------------
The bond revocation hearing is for a previous DWI in St. Tammany. The incident where she killed the guy happened in Jefferson. Both on the Causeway, but in different parishes. I don't see how they can try both cases with just one trial.

has a 126K bond and an alcohol bracelet.
What's the problem? The bond is to keep her coming to court and the bracelet is to keep her from drinking. Once convicted, then that's the time to complain if she's not in jail.

This is the answer, people just don't want to hear it.

Schneider said bond is to meant to assure appearance in court, not to punish defendants.
But...

She faces a bond-revocation hearing in St. Tammany Parish on Monday for a prior DWI charge. That hearing was set after he arrest in the Causeway crash.
This is a correct use of bond conditions. So she will likely end up back in custody.
Sounds like a normal criminal proceeding. Nothing special.

Was there ever an explanation of how a metal pole could stick through the windshield and impale the victim?
Where'd the pole come from?
ps -I know its part of the railing but how could it come loose and go through the BACK window of the truck. I cant imagine.

Pretty clear why, don't frick with Mardi Gras or make national news during a tourist event. Kid never had a chance after hitting parade goers
Not saying it makes sense, but the girl obviously is a bigger threat to the public but had a bail set within days

The truck rode up on top of the rail and slid down it. I think one of the bars buckled down causing the front of the truck to dip so the next bar in the railing was pushed upwards into the windshield.

but the pole came thru the back window

Oh then nevermind
I thought the picture I saw had it through the front.

It's sticking thru the front but I read it came from back to front. What a freak happening (the pole part, not the a-hole drunk driver - she was habitual)
