Exact same here. I'm working from home but she's at the office still b/c "closing and title companies are essential" We're both grateful she's still working though.

Question. Is the company she works for taking precautions?

My wife's company is limiting closing only to absolute essential people. They are putting out pens for everyone that needs to sign the documents and spacing the people generously around their conference table. Once the documents are signed, the pens are picked up and put in a zip lock bag to be sanitized or tossed in the trash.

No "Open Houses", no marketer meet and greets or seminars taking place, etc. Just title work for closings, acts of donation, change of ownership due to deaths and probate work, etc.

Checking in. We provide plumbing parts/supplies all over the Southeast, so we we're rocking and rolling to make sure everyone can keep flushing all of their hoarded toilet paper.

I haven’t had any issues traveling in and out of downtown SF. Actually it’s been pleasant. I got a letter from the governors office saying I’m ‘essential’ although I don’t know how our CEO pulled that shite off

My 4 mile commute has been cut down from an hour to about 14-15 min drive time

Good job mortgage company lobbyist.

Lobbyist??? I don't particularly like that she has that job. It is very stressful for her with the exactness needed for the paperwork to go to the final act of sale---and she's very good at it with her people skills.

If you've never bought a house and needed to give out the personal information needed to make sure there are no later legal problems, then you don't understand the nature of the job.

Lobbyist, no. I really don't like the industry.

I’m self- employed and out of business. I work at home but I’m unable to see my clients . I am determined to make this a net positive for myself and my family. Change is almost always good long term. I’m just glad I’m going through it with everybody else- it makes it much easier.

For those of you unaffected- I wouldn’t brag too much about that. Too many people are raw and pessimistic .

We have the option to work remotely or go into the office. Between not enjoying working at home and wanting to utilize 3 monitors, I’ve got a go in every other day schedule going.

I am. Work at MSY. Unless the airport shuts down, I’ll be there on the swing shifts.

I am, even though the school is shut down until the 17th. The district labeled me as essential personnel to see kids with Mental Health issues, since I work with them on coping/social skills and teach SPED.
