You know we have hit rock bottom as a society when you have to explain to a man in college the benefits of having a truck and the SJW still does not get it.

I buy a truck to lay in the truck bed, in the middle of green pastures, with the sound of a tranquil lake close by, gazing under the starry night sky, listening to jason aldean on the tunes, with one hand around a cold beer and my other hand grabbing your mom's pussy.

Smart people buy trucks. Because only a dumbfrick would ask this question.
Posted on 1/21/17 at 8:16 am to PrayingMantis
People wouldn't buy them if they didn't make them.

not talking to the few people who use a truck as intended so calm down.
How old are you? Seems like you are talking about a young kid who's dad bought him a truck for his first car. Or maybe you talking about Latinos that lower there shite and deck them out in all sorts of colors and flame decals and shite.
Those are the type of people that drive a truck and don't use it for its intended purpose.

Although you're a naive idiot and not really worth replying to, I'll entertain.
I had a truck and went to a car when it got totalled and I will say I miss my truck more than I thought. I didn't use it as much as many S. Louisianans, but trucks are much more convenient than you think even if you don't regularly pull a boat or haul things.
And there is absolutely no trade-off with comfort and handling. Trucks these days are like luxury vehicles.
What an absolutely dumb question to ask in Louisiana. You know how many people hunt and fish?

Some of us work and have to pull heavy equipment...that's why I drive a truck.

this.
most people that have trucks don't even realize how often they use them for things cars can't do.
you don't notice it until you don't have a truck.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I regularly haul shite that can't be put in the trunk of your Prius, and go places a Volt won't make it into. 2/10.

Seems to me like truck drivers are melting harder than the OP in this thread.
OP, the real answer is: their daddy has a truck, their granddaddy had a truck, their brother has a truck, their cousin has a truck, and if you don't drive a truck you are a pussy.

I use my truck ALOT. I don't have the time to even list out everything I use it for weekly. But even if I didn't, it's way more spacious just in the inside and more convenient than my wife's car. I have a crew max tundra and the back seat is huge and allows for my passengers to be comfortable. Much easier to put sams groceries in the back set and the bed than trying to cram everything in the wife's trunk. It's a smooth ride as well. But I will say I'm not one to lift my truck and put big tires and exhaust on it. Simply because I personally don't need it. I don't have a problem with those that do that if they need it. I do think that a lot of truck hate comes from the people who lift their trucks and never take them off pavement but I still don't care what other people do with their vehicles. I'd much rather share the road with a lifted truck than the a-hole in the Camaro weaving in and out of traffic going 75 on the interstate.

They are generally low self esteem and low intelligence people who get off riding 2 feet above other drivers.
They don't have the intelligence and foresight to realize that their truck is parked the vast majority of the time.
They are so inconsiderate that they have no problem inconveniencing everyone else they park near. Their truck is so large that it takes up well over one parking space making it impossible for drivers to pass each other in a parking lot. All drivers must pass one at a time instead of the designed two-lane passing.
They don't understand that other drivers can not see over/under/around or thru their truck and that they are responsible for traffic accidents.
Anyone with average intelligence understands what type of person drives a truck, rude inconsiderate people.
Thank you for listening.
You're welcome. And this is the single stupidest post I have ever read on here, and this is a forum with Owlie, Rex, and LSUClementine.

I explained it fully in my post in monosyllable words and you still don't have a clue. So, I presume you drive a truck......

I used all 140 of my IQ points to generate that post. I am very proud of it.
People keep asking why others are upset with people who drive trucks. Then someone gives you an intelligent and thorough answer and you spazz out.
Duh!
The more intense your reaction, the more you admit how true my answer is.
If my answer were so stupid and inane, you would let it stand on it's own merits since everyone would know it was wrong.
Thank you for validating my answer!
