So has Izzy been downgraded yet? Or did it dissipate?
Was it an Invest before it became Izzy?

The accumulation on this deal seems to vary by the mile

NWS going with 6-12 for Pittsburgh area. Probably accurate- the only time they miss is if temp doesn't drop enough but it's 22F right now. It has warmed up since I woke up (14 around 8:30) but I doubt it gets above 32 today.

SE Gwinnett-
High winds knocked out power for a few hours this morning. Then winds calmed and snow began to fall in waves. So far about half inch on the rail and still falling lightly. Radar indicates several inches coming. Fine with me, snow is better than ice.

Yep, just rain for me so far, too. One brief snow shower, then back to rain. We've had over 1.5" of rain since midnight.

Madison county AL was added to the Winter Storm Warning. They've seen more than areas to their West.

Been a bit of a disappointment so far. Only about four inches of snow after a forecast of 10-18 inches. It’s supposed to pick back up this evening though.

It is Sunday and we're having a Winter storm that was forecast for days, yet frickers are out sliding around all over the place in the Carolinas.
TWC just showed a Mini Cooper really really struggling on flat ground. Good grief.

Nobody got the right tires for this. Smart people know that and stay home.

A balloon went up somewhere in that area earlier and found freezing temps all the way up. I didn't catch the exact location. That's a plus right now, anyway.
