I have come to realize that operating a home thermostat is somehow beyond even the smartest woman’s abilities. They fail to recognize that 72 in the summer on AC and 72 in the winter on Heat are entirely different things. Furthermore, they think that setting the thermostat higher or lower than the desired temp will somehow result in the HVAC system getting to the desired temp faster. Boggles the mind.

I visited my parents recently. My Dad was in front of the gas fireplace (set on high) with a flannel blanket and my mom had the A/C on 65 degrees. She was wearing shorts. Lol

If she’s hot, she can step outside and get cold. Presumably, if it’s cold outside then with no heat inside it should also be cooler. Or just open the phucking windows that we spent 10k to get replaced because she wanted new windows. Smh.

at some point/age it always swings the other way and she always cold wanting to turn the heater on when its 76 degrees in the house.
