I am not saying they stack up in general to some of the greats
but
Groundhog Day
The Old Town Road Western Duel
and Jason Momoa were solid by the standards of the last 5-6 years
everything else was trash

It used to be a contest to see who could make the funniest or most unique commercial.
Now it is a contest to see who can be the biggest SJW.

Who the hell thought it was a good idea to have a flamboyantly gay dude obnoxiously yell at viewers during a Super Bowl?
Except here you are talking about it,
Now people that missed it have to see what you’re talking about.
So yeah, it worked.

Name the social justice commercials. The only one I remember is the women astronaut ad.

People say this literally every year. It's time we stop acting like super bowl ads are always amazing or were before. For every awesome one each year there are 30 terrible try hard ones.

This is sarcasm right?

Not really.

agreed.
quit telling me how equal you are and just act like it. If you're my equal, it'll be apparent. If not, no point in telling me you are.

Jason Mamoa one, Old Town Road Doritos, Google, NFL commercial, and at first I didn't like the Alexa one until the Nixon part. "I aint deleting...."
What's sad is that when I looked the Alexa ad up on YouTube later, a lot of the comments were from people that did't get that part.

"Pop tarts? Yeah I used to eat them all my life, loved them as a child. Then once they made this one commercial I didn't like and I never tried then again"

The intro one was awesome, but that wasn't really a commercial.
Google had a good one, but it was sad as shite.
It was a rough year for SB commercials. The Charlie Day thing was whatever the opposite of funny is.

Geiko pioneered stupid commercials as a means to try to get the audience to watch instead of using the time for a bathroom break, channel surf, or refrigerator run.
The ploy has became more prevalent with the entire insurance community leading the way. Last night's superbowl ads carried it to even new lows of desperation.

That was the best one of all.
Absolute 100% truth.

Wish some billionaire would create a fictitious company and buy Super Bowl ads that offend every major SJW group, anti - pc all the way. Then near the end, the tag line - Who's Going to Save You When You Need It Most? Then a brief video montage of good ole rural redneck folk gardening, fishing, hunting and building.
Finally, the final caption, These People. Better Make Amends.

Super Bowl commercials were much better before everyone was trying to be the next big Super Bowl commercial
Its just par for the course for the NFL though.. the huge over commercialization of everything has really turned me off when it comes to football lately
