Wouldn't stay in a 10 minute line for any fast food. But I sure do miss the DQ they closed about 500 yards from my house. It was awesome to be able to get a flamethrower burger or ice cream without having to really leave the neighborhood.

I'm surprised no other Lafayette people have mentioned the Chick-fil-A on Ambassador. It has been open for several years now, and still has lines that spill out into Ambassador every day for lunch. It causes immesnse traffic pileups every day, it's such a cluster frick. They have two drive through lines and employees directing traffic and taking orders outside.
It boggles me how people could care so much about a fricking chicken sandwich.

They can halt traffic to a grinding stop sometimes during supper time here in NE Houston. Soccer moms got to get them youngsters some nuggets.

I love me some chick-fil-a but the one by my work is just like this. It is on a tiny corner lot right off of interstate and they have 1 really narrow entrance. It will sometimes get so backed up that the people at the drive thru window can't pull forward.

First of all, frick you for acting like Chickfila is just some chicken sandwich. Second of all, even if the line is long, it goes by really fast.
And blizzards are fricking awesome and that dip cone, cuz? Chaaww

Speaking of which, I bet when they open that new chickfil a on airline @ highland there is going to be some lengthy lines and cops directing traffic for awhile.

When in & out opened in Dallas it was an absolute nightmare. So many Mexicans. So many.

Apparently enough people will do it that there are hour long lines.

I enjoy Dairy Queen a lot. Would not wait more than 10 mins.
Sounds like when Krispy Kream expanded in the late 90s, people would stand in line for hours.

The one on Veterans has a line around the building, out of the parking lot and down the shoulder of the road everyday at lunch. It's like crack for middle class white people.

I wouldn't wait an hour in line for any food. If the restaurant is good enough to make me willing to wait an hour, they probably take reservations.

It's the only place you can go and not have to deal with idiot employees

There's a DQ in central. It gets decent business but I don't know if its ever had a line. Weird.
Yeah that place is always dead actually
Service sucks, regular food sucks on a truck stop level, and ice cream is nothing to call home for. I cant imagine there being that big a demand for that plaxe

Yep. They have a bunch of specialty burgers. I went to a DQ in Wyoming an it was very basic. Ham/cheeseburger, Chicken sandwich, hot dog.... Texas has the jalito and chilli cheese burger that are lights out. I rarely eat that stuff now though :/
