re: Would you support a dictatorship if you knew the results would be the same as Singapore?

A benevolent dictatorship is far superior to the free for all a democracy devolves into.

No. I would rather have the freedom to frick things up and rebuild, hopefully learning from our past mistakes, then never having a choice at all.
Singapore is routinely ranked as one of the most economically free nations in the world.
It has some of the strongest property rights in the world.
Enforces strong anti-corruption laws
No minimum wage. If 2 people agree to a wage rate for a particular job, the government supports that.
The top income tax rate is 22 percent

If anyone is familiar with Singapore they are the most accepted dictatorships in the world
Why do you call it a dictatorship?
Doesn’t the fact that they freely elect their leaders disqualify them as a dictatorship?

Not for me but whatever works for those people, more power to them.
Western thought was born out of rebellion, from leaving societies that demanded loyalty to living by your own wits. Southern and western even more so but that seems to be changing somewhat with people looking to the government as their provider from cradle to the grave.
For others, living in a controlled environment and all they know is subservience for hundreds of generations, it probably seems natural.

No. I like democracy, not oligarchy or dictatorship. We need nationally funded political races where politicians don't get bought. Done

Have you not seen our politicians? We don't have the level of talent here to even be thinking about that.
