Zillow Rabbit Hole Let's Go
Jordan’s old home in Chicago. On sale for a mere 14 million, a small 32k square feet.

The only thing I found surprising and actually a pretty big negative to Jordan’s house is the railroad track runs (what looks like) less than a few hundred feet from his house. Obviously he had trees and probably some other sound barriers but if I was that loaded surely there is a better location than right by a major railway.

This ones for me
I rented a house in Hollywood Hills a long time ago and it’s a really cool place to live. Totally different vibe of people. Of course, this is another level of people. The fricking property taxes are $100k a year

So he made less in the NFL?

What is a better app besides Zillow?
It sucks. I guess people just don’t put their homes on it and it doesn’t do it otherwise.

Buying a house isn’t the move it used to be.
Yes, it is. More wealth has been created through home ownership than just about any other means. There are tax benefits as well.
It’s not for everyone, but home ownership is the first investment you should make if you can afford to.

Something much more realistic, price wise. And I love the architectural syle.
Idaho?
Maybe as a summer vacation home, that’s about it.

Oh yea after his first issue in the NFL the house mysteriously caught on fire

Zillow values it just around $40K.
Good luck selling it after you dump $125K to renovate it.

I’m a life long renter because I can’t stomach dropping a massive amount of money on a home. In today’s economy, staying in one place for 20-30 years just seems unrealistic; i feel like you always need to be flexible and ready to move to where the jobs are at any time. In my entire life I’ve never lived in one place for longer than 6 years,
Are you married with kids? Not meaning that as a negative, but those two things are what makes most people tie down to one place.

Dude is just throwing $$ away by renting his whole life.
