such snow flakes
you want to talk shite when you get back, so be it. doing it over seas is so lame, and karma is a bitch,

Lots of people do. It’s not anywhere near as popular as the summer Olympics

You are overplaying this bit. Maybe take a couple plays off.

Well yeah that's because soccer is the biggest sport in the world, pretty much the only thing most nations tune in for.

I’m sure you've never complained about anything in America.
America isn’t perfect but it’s still the best country in the World. Why do you think ICE even exists? Critical thinking exercise. Do you even have an opinion or do you just regurgitate what you hear on TV? I mean, if professional athletes say it’s true, then it must be true, right? Same thing goes for you, if you do not like America, you can leave too.

No. Sports is sports. Politics is separate. I don’t care what they think. I watch their athletic performance. Shut up and ski. And don’t take all that the US has offered you and be ungrateful with groupthink politics.

I was comparing it to the summer Olympics
Unlike the summer one which has lots of sports people are familiar with, the winter one is environment dependent and features a lot of sports not that many people are familiar with

yes, while in america not over seas, where majority of world are jealous of america and always trying to bait athletes to bad mouth it. dont fall into the trap. frick the eurotrash and libtard journos. hate it all you want, while here
If somebody asks them about it while they’re here, they’ll give the same response.

You gotta remember, majority of these skiers and snowboarders grew up rich, spoiled as shite in elite mountain towns
It’s generally a liberal hipster culture disconnected from the real world
I bet he’d say something different if the slopes were filled with illegal Venezuelans and Somalians at his hometown resort

I love watching the downhill skiing.
We record every event on Youtube tv and watch the ones we want. Skip commercials and endless talking.

If we taxpayers subsidize this team we need to end it. They can pay their own way.
There are 0 tax dollars spent on the Olympic athletes. It has been that way for as long as I know.

Also the comments are so mild. The comments from Hess are the only ones that are remotely controversial (and he didn’t come off eloquent), but I can’t imagine how someone would get fired up about it.
This is really just grasping at straws for someone who was hoping and praying for a trans athlete to get worked up about.

Also, these guys will complain about this and say the Olympics are woke then turn on the Super Bowl where I guarantee a higher percentage of the athletes are woke than the Olympic team.

I like the endurance sports and races.
Can the bobsled shave off a few tenths on the way down? Will they hold up under the pressure of being in the lead?
The speed skating is awesome.
It has its own charm.
I don't give a shite about ice skating or a snowboarder spinning around 6 times.

quote:On an individual level that is correct. However that ignores that the training centers do rely on subsidies.
They aren’t subsidized by taxpayers. They’re typically sponsored, rely on private donations, and broadcast revenues.
It only touches a few winter sports but many of them have went to US universities which themselves receive federal money. Take a look at Track and Field...we not only subsidize our athletes' training but we also subsidize a lot of other country's athletes.
With that out of the way, both sides need to keep politics out of the Olympics. NBC needs to stop platforming the degenerates while excluding any mention of those who wear Christianity on their sleeves.

Short track and full oval speed skating are both a lot of fun to watch. I especially like the mass start event.
