Can’t take credit for the build. My older brother spec’d it out. Unfortunately he passed during the 10 months it took to complete it. Will probably never fire it.

So sorry to hear that but that is a great keepsake to remember him by.
My brother bought a Colt 1911 when he was sick with cancer and he never got to shoot it either. Nephew has it now.

Bul is a good gun for the money. Also look at MAC. I just picked up a 2011 DS Comp and it's pretty impressive for around $900.00. It needs a little trigger work and I'll change the grip module eventually, but for the price it's hard to beat.
