Local gun store when out of business here in Memphis and put everything up for auction on a local online auction.
probably around 700-800 guns.
I was able to buy 3 CZ 75 sp-01, Sig P229 PRO, and a Sig P229 M11
Will be right around $2200 out the door total. Thinking I did well.
Oh, they are all brand new.

Ended up spending $4269 with fees and tax. Stopped bidding on several that went into the retail range, I'm sure I missed some other good deals but tried not to buy too much random crap I woudln't use. Saw several guns go for retail/higher than online vendors. These guys had a lot of tactical shotguns and other stuff I don't know anything about and just avoided all together.
Got several of these less than 50% of retail price, paid a little more than I wanted for a few but stayed well under normal pricing even after buyers premium and sales tax.

So, we were bidding against each other on the Sig P229 pros.
I bid on the .460 xvr and the S&W Model 41 along with several others.
But wasn't too aggressive. Happy with what I got.
ETA: I'm pretty fired up about the CZ. $500 for it.
Looks like I got each gun for around 300-400 less that what they sell for new on the street.

That one was a flyer for me, just like the way it looks but I'm more a fan of the 5-800 pistols than the $1500+ stuff. With tax and fees that one ended up at $1022, not a bad buy, not a total steal. Got the Hellcats with red dots for just over $400 ea all in and the side-by-side 16ga for about $550, both of those were smokin buys.
I wanted the benelli 28ga shotguns but somebody paid too much for them as expected. No reason to pay retail for one you can't inspect before hand and is being sold as-is.

I had the $800 bid on that one you bought when you went to $810. When you did, I went to the other 229 pro and bid the same ($810) and won it.
That gun is right at $1400 in the street before taxes. Think we did very well on those.

I was sitting in my business partners office bidding on that one and even told him at one point, I haven't been paying attention to bidder numbers I sure hope its not me and one other guy bouncing back and forth bidding each other up on these two guns like dumbasses.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I picked up a Del-Ton AR9 lower from JSE Surplus, they're $75 right now.

Seems to be a solid price. I've seen the reddit posts on it, it's basically a Spike's Tactical clone.
Part of the reason I ordered was because Del-Ton is gone now. My understanding is, they developed these but never made it to market before closing the doors. JSE got all of them.
As of this post, there's now 41 left. When I ordered, there were 68. There are no more in the pipeline.
