Oooohhhhh….look...it has a trigger.....
Gun folks are the funniest bunch of folks on the planet. Pictures of your gun....really???? I'd be embarrassed for anyone to see most of mine....they spend a lot of time in boats and blinds....not exactly the best environment for anything, especially anything made out of steel....

show me where it touched you
whats weirder to me than your perception of "gun folks" is your need to stop in to a thread that you obviously have no interest in and make such a ridiculous post.
I tend to not click threads about kayaking or fishing, because well, its not really my thing. but I don't go in there and say "Wow bro that fish looks just like a fish!"
We have our passions and we enjoy sharing them with each other. If that's to much for you to handle maybe the internet just isn't the thing for you either.

Its fun though...gun folks are just damned fun...the way y'all think is hilarious....
I like guns myself...own a safe with far more than I need or want my wife to know about. I do not think I have ever thought to take a picture of one. I have taken pictures of my kids. I have taken pictures of my dog. It is just damned funny that someone staged their gun for a portrait. Sorry if that triggered some of you...I apologize. I would not want to cause you any kind of discomfort....
I'd also read a thread about pictures of tool boxes cause I'd find that strange also. A thread about pictures of socks...I'd check it out, again because it is strange to me....
I wonder if sock people are as touchy as gun folks? Probably not....I ain't never seen a person take a pair of socks to dinner...they will wear them to dinner.....but I have seen people taking their guns to dinner...it was a thing a few years ago until even gun folks came to realize how strange it was....I sold a web domain on GoDaddy for $500 called
"Takeyourguntodinner.com"...I thought it'd be a good site where gun folks could find restaurants that would welcome their "friend" and they could meet others with a similar bent. I only had it registered a week or so when someone offered to buy it from me and, not knowing anything about monetizing a website, I took the money....but I thought it'd be a good public service. I didn't see it but about 2 weeks after I sold it Bill Maher did a bit on Real Time about a dating website for gun folks who wanted to take their guns out for a night on the town....

...you're like...super edgy...and suspenseful...with your condescension...you seem like a blast.

I’m not sure what your objection to this thread is. I’m not really into the tacticool guns with all the bells and whistles, but I still don’t mind seeing fine firearms.

It’s a custom APR in 6.5 creed. Curtis Custom action, Grayboe Stock, custom tigger but can’t remember which one and which barrel.

You don't understand the term "melting" obviously....I am laughing at folks who would pose their gun for a photograph...that's funny...it ain't maddening it is simply silly. Have at it. Take a picture of your gun and tote it around in your wallet....but don't be shocked when someone finds it funny....

I don't have an objection....its pretty good comedy! I wish it would become a thing where gun folks posed their guns for portraits....paid commissions to artists to render their likeness for all of eternity....that is comedy gold!!!! Y'all should have contests for your guns...like beauty pageants.
I could see it if were something unique or special...say an old sidelock side by side made in England and worth a 1/4 million $s or something....but something they sale at Cabelas???? That's some funny shite.....

I am a blast....I can most definitely see some funny shite and call it out when I do....most people, even gun people, would find it amusing that old dude posed his pistol for a portrait. That is some funny shite.....

I posted a photo of My 1911, on here once, when I first bought it. It's a very nice old 70 series, and the first 1911 I ever owned.
I agree with you though. Makes me think about a buddy of mine, when he got his first John Deere tractor, He kept a photo of it in his wallet.
First time I saw him pull that photo out and show to somebody, I was like really man? You've got a photo of a damn tractor to show around?
At the same time, I guess I'm kind of a hypocrite in a way. I felt silly about posting those photos when I thought about it, and yet, I would love to post some photos of a few of my guitars on the music board. I just never have been able to post any photos off this computer or I already would have done that.
