Love my Hankook DynaPro AT/M on my Tundra and 4Runner. Rides well, grips well on snow/rain, and does better offroad that it looks like it would.

Yep. I'm on my 4th set over the years and 2 trucks. Great tire for a great value. Have consistently gotten 65-75k per set.

I’ll tell you what not to get:
Ironman AT. I have these on a 1/2 ton Z71 and they wear quick, spin on wet grass and look terrible. But they sure were cheap.

Dodge dealerships are currently running this special:
You don't need to drive a Ram truck to get the deal.
I just put a set of BFG Mud Terrain KM3's on my truck and saved $400.

Cooper Discoverer AT3s

Ran them on every truck I had for over 15 years and loved them.
I'm old now and opted for a hwy tire this time around.

Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Have 60k on a set now and just getting to the point I’m thinking about getting a new pair.
Ran BFG for years and loved them. Only problem I always had with BFgs around 45k I would always have to get them re balanced. Haven’t had a single issue with the Ridge Grapplers and 45-50k of miles were all highway miles. Just rotate every oil change.

You really can't go wrong with any listed here. I have had Ko2's on two trucks and two sets of Ridge grapplers and loved them both. I liked the ridge grapplers more as I felt they were quieter and lasted longer, as well as having beefier tread and sidewalls and handling better on wet concrete as well as in mud and dicey wet fields.

I haven't had the Coopers but I have always heard good things about the discovery series (I think they are called, but it may have been the m/t version).

Buddy only has Toyo r/t or m/t on his trucks and they are weirdly similar in the noise department. Next tires (if I don't get RG's again) I'm getting mud grapplers or toyo m/t. But I do love the ridge grapplers a lot.

Lot of old baws on f150forum swear by hankook, BfG, Cooper, nitto, toyo, etc. I don't think you can really go wrong. If you don't like a set people will usually buy barely used tires if you wanted to sell them (some companies/stores may take returns or have better warranties than others). Check Discount Tire, they can usually get whatever you want shipped to their shop if they don't have it in stock and do free rotations and patches and all that. (granted not sure with recent covid shite I bought my current set last summer).

NTB has a Cooper Discoverer RTX (comparable to the AT3) that I put on my GMC Sierra for $700 with road hazard warranty). I was very pleased with this tire as it was not quite as aggressive as the BFG TA KO2 but agressive enough and the ride quality was much better. The BFG's that I had before them cost me $1500.

I had a set of cooper zeon. They lasted maybe 30k miles.

Looked good but didn’t last.

On my second set of Toyo open country at3
Got 60-70k out of the 1st set and have about that on the second set

Toyo open country AT/3 is what you describe.

That was my second option, but I just put Michelin defender LTX tires on my boat puller, it is just such a good tire even though it doesn't "look" aggressive. Probably the best tire for a 2WD boat puller.

Cooper Rugged Treks. Ride smooth but still look aggressive and have some good tread for mud.

A friend of mine has the passenger rated falken wild peaks and he likes them a lot. Rode with him on a few hundred mile road trip and they ride just as soft and quiet as my stock wrangler a/t’s with a much more aggressive tread pattern. He is pleased with their traction on and off-road as well. Pretty damn affordable compared to the bigger names also.

I’ve got 20,000 miles on my wranglers and will likely get the wild peaks when the time comes mainly because I’m not looking for something as aggressive as the others stated here. Plus they make white-lettered sidewalls and I’m an old school “white letter and chrome” guy.

I had the falken wild peaks on my last truck and liked them a lot. Would not hesitate to buy again.

I’ve had Duratracs, Cooper AT3s, and Nitto Ridge Grapplers since becoming a baw. Sunk my truck to the frame with the AT3s. My sample size is low admittedly, but within these I’d pick the Nittos. They’re all about the same price and for my driving habits the Nittos have lasted the longest and were the best combination of value and performance for me. They ride well at 90mph on the highway and they do well enough on muddy logging roads and field access roads. Rotate them often and properly and keep them properly inflated and get an alignment and they’ll last well over 70k and stay quiet. Tip for Nittos: get the LT (as opposed to P rated) as they’ll last longer due to thicker tread and will be less likely to be punctured due to more plys.

Well after pricing out several brands I went with Lancaster LS- R/T. $400 cheaper for 4 than anything else I could find. Should be in today so we shall see how they do. Man they proud of some tires right now.
