I’ve had a Primo for just shy of 10 yrs now.

I’ve had warranty issues with it twice and both times the company had a new part on fed ex to me the next day.

Not sure I could say one is better than the other except the Primo is American made.

I've got two size large BGE's and both have had ash box fractures due to shoddy materials
You know BGE replaces these for free right?

Mine is the Primo Kamado (round and same size as the bge large).

Most of the bge accessories fit the primo.

If buying today, I’d likely by an oval one however.

Edit to clarify

I've had my Vision for around 4 years, and it hasn't let me down yet.

Couldn’t be happier with my Kamado Joe. It comes with a lot of accessories that you really need (heat deflector) that you have to buy separately with the BGE.

KJ Big Joe. I also have the Junior. I love them both. Started with an Akorn, and it has its place too. It doesn’t weigh 250 pounds and can be taken just about anywhere.

Kamado Joe’s have an ashtray. They are easier to clean out. I own a primo XL oval and kamado joe. Mostly use KJ because of the ashtray.

This. I’ve had a Large BGE for 7 years. Replaced the bottom and platesetter in that time. Very easy and excellent customer service. Plan on buying another in a different size.
