Don’t want to fry until Sunday. I have the filets on ice in the fridge. Will they spoil if left that long?

They will be fine. Just make sure they filets aren't exposed to air or they will start to dry out.

Absolutely. They will keep for a week in the fridge. Keep them in a ziploc submerged in water in the fridge.

I have a cold area of my fridge and ice in a metal bowl takes a long time to thaw. I have kept them on that ice for a while and they have been fine.

Big bowl filled with ice and a little water. When the ice melts, dumps some water and add some ice. You can do this for at least one week.

Todd Masson has a video about this. He explains that he does this and that he never freezes fish. Mostly because he fishes every week. But also mentions emphatically that you can keep fish this way for two solid weeks without problems

What does it say about me that I'm disappointed there isn't a pic of an ice chest full of fish? I know what fish look like, but I still want to see the haul.

You're good for easily a week. I just cooked some last night from this past weekend and will do so again tomorrow night.

Not the OP, but I'll help you a little. It's been too easy over here once the wind finally laid for a few days.

Lake P near the Lakefront airport. That’s the furthest I’ve ever run across the lake. Buddys boat is docked near the Rigolets. Shhhhhhhhh
