Good for your FIL. When your wife inherits the land maybe she will let you hurt it. If she is still married to you.

No alcohol till firearms are put away. Period end of story. Even more so for recreational drugs.

There are lot of dudes I am friends with but do not every hunt with because of the fact they drink(or other stuff) before or during hunts.

and I like to drink, but never before or on a hunt.

I drank a couple bud zeros while hunting last weekend and it hit the spot. Switched to Miller once I limited out.

I’d still drink my beer. Tell him “it’s better to be pissed off, than to be pissed on”…

I agree completely. No alcohol at all while handling a firearm. None. I will be 3 sheets to the wind heading offshore to fish but I would not have a drop while hunting. Have had people in the duck blind who wanted to have a little for medicinal purposes...I would not hunt with them again. It just isn't worth it....there is a time and place for it and anything to do with a gun is categorically not the place for any amount of alcohol.

Damn baw. I’d argue that drinking while hunting is far more safer than driving a boat while hammered.

If your FIL has no ownership. He really has no say. If he is skittish then he shouldn't go.

Sounds like you let him run your house. What would a man do?

Ill kick you off my land if you dont drink while dove hunting. Once I get a good buzz I put the gun away and let the kids hunt.

No experience because I don't drink while using firearms, plus drinking and dove hunting seems like a dumbass tradition, and as for advice, no, because you don't seem like the type that would listen to good advice.
