Got this "Hershey" kiss tonight in my driveway

I estimate he was somewhere between 3.5 ft. and 4 ft. in length. Happy I was alerted to him before my dogs were.

Beautiful snake. But I understand if it's in your driveway that you have a family and pets to protect.

Some may have done it different and more power to them.

Personal choice when self and family may be in danger.
Do what you need to do.

Caught 3 a couple nights ago, including a newborn. Beautiful snakes.

Had it been non-venomous, he would have lived. But I didn't feel comfortable trying to relocate him, as I could not guarantee he wouldn't be back again.

Prettiest copperhead I ever killed had (at least I think) just shed its skin. It was super shiny and wet looking.
