The CC9 is the first product designed and tested here in the United States by HK USA. Though this is a new product, HK USA used the same kinds of rigorous testing that H&K is famous for. Those tests included all of the standard NATO small arms reliability tests, as well as a new “lint test” created for the concealed carry world.

quote:

“ConcealABLE: As the smallest double-stack pistol HK has ever produced, the CC9 sets a new standard for concealed carry firearms. Chambered in 9mm, the CC9 comes equipped with a 10-round and 12-round magazine for flexibility in concealment offering unparalleled ease of carry without sacrificing capacity. The CC9’s sleek, slim, smoothed, and lightweight design features mirrored ambidextrous controls including slide-stop and magazine release.
Safety is integral to the CC9’s design. The pistol is equipped with a robust array of safety features, including a trigger safety, passive firing pin safety, Out-of-Battery safety and Safe Take Down Feature for safe disassembly – no need to pull the trigger during field-striping. Additionally, the CC9 includes a visual and tactile loaded chamber indicator built-in to the extractor.

Ehhh, I recently switched over to the Glock platform and much prefer the G26 to all of the micro 9mms I've owned and carried.

There are comparable options out there with 15rd capacities (Sig XMacro, Springfield Hellcat Pro, G43x **with Shield Arms mag, etc.). I'd love a reason to buy an H&K. Was the first handgun I ever shot. This just doesn't necessarily move the needle for me when those are out there. I think manufacturers need to push for 15rd to compete now.

At first glance, I like it. Never been a fan of the way their pistols look, this one is a exception. However, many will still lean Sig 365 when those can be had for under $500.

I liked my g43 but it’s hard to argue with capacity for a CCW. 10 rounds is better than nothing, but why limit yourself.

So disappointing. They took everything that was HK unique and turned it into a Taurus.

I'm sure it's a great gun. I have many HKs and love them all but I'll stick with my P365 & P2000SK for CC.

Should have just brought this to the US market.

Spent all that time and money to copy the Taurus GX4

What a joke and ofc HK is late to the party. The market is flooded with Micro 9’s and they aren’t even the hot thing anymore. Now people want subcompact/compact size with micro 9 width. See Walther PDP F, Glock 48, Canik MC9LS

Have you had a chance to put significant rounds through it? Local gun shop kind of steered me away saying they've seen some reliability issues. However, I've read a ton that they tend to go away after ~250 rounds as it's just due to tighter tolerances and need of a break in period. It's a basically a Glock that takes the time to add features that get you excited.

Then you aren't the target demographic for H&K.

If you can't stop the threat with 12, you probably can't with the other 3.
HK is a damn fine weapon

First mag for CR920XP had 2 fail to eject & 1 fail to load. Around 600 rounds since without a hiccup. They stress break in period of 200 rounds. I've ran 115, 124, & 147. Ball & carry. It's perfect for me. Recoil almost nothing. Barely more than a 22. Highly recommend.

Not really, some AR manufacturers tout "machine gun" steel for their barrels. Cannons, guns, whatever all pretty much use ordnance-grade steel which is 4140 or 4150 chromoly. Was a popular marketing term decades ago, but that's all it really is.

Yep. My Hellcat with the 15rd mag is what I've been rolling with. The plate on the bottom of that mag doesn't make any real noticeable difference as far as comfort when carrying it. It's really nice to have that type of capacity with something that's very comfortable to carry. Comfort is one of the main reasons some don't carry. Of course, the right holster can make all the difference in the world too. When I first started carrying, I went through several platforms and holsters before finding a sweet spot.
