I just got soil tests back and the P level in one of my fields fell from 123 to 51 #/acre in 3 years... so I'm going to be buying a LOT of 0-46-0.

I haven't paid much attention to fertilizer prices since they spiked a few years ago - have they gone down?

Gatlin feed in Bougechitto MS is always competitive and great friendly service

currently 00-46-00 is $22/50lb

13-13-13 $14.50/50lb

so i think they are down a little

From what I’ve seen they are the same as last year. Might be old stock

I usually buy at the Wilkinson County Co-Op in Woodville - definately great friendly service... but not always competitive.

I don't have bulk spreader so I'm stuck buying bagged fertilizer... but if the price difference is enough Bogue Chitto is not too far of a drive!

usually have the best price on corn and fencing materials too, follow their facebook page for updates

First time I stopped there I was looking at some stuff on the front porch and the owner walks out shakes my hand , introduces himself, learned about my situation and was a wealth of info, highly satisfied

Will is great to deal with . He does a huge business and I’m glad to see it. I’ve been buying all our supplies there for years. Don’t plan on changing that.

Since 98 is closed at bridge I get majority of my stuff from Bogue Chitto recently. Will continue buying from them.
