Insulated Waders with Felt Boots

Well.... learned a valuable lesson this weekend when fishing the river by the house: wet, cold feet make you miserable.
Water has been down here this year. Had to get out of the canoe a couple of times to push through some shoals. My standard Simms boots do great when it's warm, but in 40 degree water, not so much. Anytime I get out in the water, it will be on slippery shelf type rocks so I was thinking felt boots as I will not be walking very far or very much. Probably only need these a half dozen times a year so I don't want to break the bank on a set, but I also don't want a repeat of this weekend.
Recommendations?

Check out Korkers, they have clip on soles. However, if you’re having issues in 40 degree water it might not be the boot.
I’ve recently been float fishing and wading in cooler water and my White Rivers do fine.

You will have a hard time finding insulated boot foot waders with felt.
You'll need stocking foot waders and wear good socks.
Also, check your local regs on felt sole boots. There are states that are banning them now. They can carry rock slim and spread it.
