That’s about 65 miles from me and about 30 miles from my brothers. I haven’t heard of any on the King Ranch or the Kennedy yet.

I ranged the blind and It was 175 yards. Ended up seeing a badger which was pretty cool.

Bump, did the rut kick off down there Rize? It has been a good 2 to 3 weeks later than usual for us north of you around Campbellton, this past weekend was really the first time I've seen the bigger bucks running does. Had two we hadn't seen all year show up, one was pretty close to getting shot but decided to give him another year, hopefully he makes it. Nothing but culls and pigs so far for us, it got down to 32 there yesterday morning so that may help getting some moving. Cousin of mine lives over near Charlotte had two show up on his camera Saturday night that he has never seen, one was 13 that is probably pushing 180", both his g3's and one of his g2's are spilt and 12 to 14" long, crazy buck that just wondered up to his feeder on the 30ac behind his house. The other is just a run of mill 150" ten

I think I finally got that fricker. Puts a good end to my season.

fricking anchored him and thought he was stone dead. That fricker started kicking and moved right behind my stand and fill feeder so I couldn’t get another shot. Damn thing got up after 15 minutes and I put another one in him as he was running off.

It wasn’t him. I shot pretty early but still a pretty good sized pig.

We've managed to kill most of the pigs we saw regularly, that was about 8 of them. There is one big boar left that must watch the gate lol, see him all week on cameras, we show up and he dissappear, even from thermals. Still get some that travel through but they don't stay long for what ever reason.

Yup.

I run a Wilson combat 6.8 SPC II with Thermion 2 XP50 and a Hyperion K can. Had some issues with bullet performance at first then switched to Hornady sst bullets.

Did y’all tear on the heel?

Both my brothers 2 pair and 1 of mine did. Right where the canvas meets the leather going down the heel.
