I'd like to hear that explanation. I hate the guns, but they revolutionized the handgun market. Glock was by a very long ways the first to the market with a reliable affordable polymer pistol. I've never heard of them doing anything unethical. They just had a good business model for their product

You don’t think other gun companies do this too? Like how is Sig Sauer suddenly winning every military contract under the sun lately?

Like others have said, two very different guns.
I have a couple of sig 226s and the single action is one of the better actions on the market. They however are not cheap pistol. Either in quality or price.
Only issue I’d be able to come up with on a Sig is that it only holds 15 rounds in a full size pistol.
I have a couple of blocks as well and shoot them a lot. They’re a different animal with the striker style trigger. The pull is just different. Kinda squishy, not a good wall, and sometimes a little gritty. But they go boom every single time.
Personally I’d pick the p226 all day, everyday. The trigger is so much better and the grip angle is the same as a 1911 which for me is automatically on target when I raise the gun. The Glock grip angle I have to make an adjustment and raise the barrel to get it on target.
One last question. You are looking for the da/sa or DAO on the SIG? SIG also has a SAO for the p220, not sure it’s available on the p226.

I have a sig p320 m18. It is more like the glock 19x or glock 45. I love it. Real nice trigger and shots great.
It is a full size grip length with the compact slide. I really like the combo more than I this I would.

Yea I dont understand that at all. Glock took over the market because they had a cheap reliable high capacity offering. They had the best bang for buck for a very long time for a police department.

those 2? Glock 19.
If other choices then look at the p320 xfive legion. Thats a bad mofo. Also vp9 is like heaven in your hand and shoots better than glock.

well.
go fire a sig sauer's mpx in full auto and you'll understand why folks are falling in love with 'em

I build custom glocks as a side hobby. I have several 19s including a 19x gen 5 which is my favorite. That said I’d check out the FN 509 compact

I have fired several MPXs in full auto and they are very nice. Still think the mp5 shoots a little smoother in full auto but the MPX is arguably the best modern sub gun. Still crazy all the different contracts they have been getting though.

Easy, get a VP9.
Just sold one (LNIB) I had for $450. Ashame we can't post ads on here. By far the better of the striker fired pistols in my opinion, but still didn't like it and should sell for $380 new.

As a 1911 afficiando, I just can't get used to the Glock grip angle. I gave it a legit shot when I bought my first Glock last year, the 19x, but I just couldn't get comfortable shooting it. Felt like I had to point the muzzle 45 degrees down to the ground just to aim straight out from me because of my 1911 muscle memory.
Go with the Sig! Or as someone else mentioned earlier, check out some of the Canik models. You can get so much more for the price compared to Glocks, M&P's and Sigs... And their triggers, out the box, are phenomenal!

Glock was a genius and also an A-hole.He had never owned a firearm before he decided to build a pistol to try and win contract with the Austrian army.Hate them or love them, they were revolutionary pistols. The book about his story was interesting.
I remember when they first hit the market.Airplane hijackings were the thing then, the ignorant media was having a meltdown over the “plastic pistols” that would be undetectable by airport x-ray.

Glock was a genius
Glocks just don't fit me ergonomically. I WANTED to like the 19x. It's an amazing pistol. It just didn't fit me.

Anyone know where to find a full size 9mm right now? Everyone seems to be out of stock. Is there somewhere I can backorder one? Looking for something with a 4” barrel or more.

Many good 9mm on the market.
Are you target shooting?
Are you looking for self defense?
Once you decide or maybe it’s both, you need to go try guns like Glock 19 Gen 5, Sig Sauer 365 / 365 XL, Walther PPQ M2, Springfield XDS, and S&W M&P 2.0
Renting at range is cheap, and you’ll see which gun fits you best for trigger, muzzle flip, etc
All my suggestions Are a good carry and conceal candidates, someone’s going to have something bad to say about each of them for sure because it’s just how things are, you need to find what’s best for you.
