Every single new truck thread is the same. New truck photos posted, 90% hate it, and it gets compared to every single other truck or some combination of every other truck.

Estimates are now that the TTv6 and hybrid will create 642lb torque.
I’m buying that motherfricker if it has that much power.
I’m already intrigued by the Ford powerboost bc of all the power. Just a bad time to buy with the chip shortage. But to get added mpgs and added power, hell yeah.

Supposed to be based off of LX750 (480 hp, 642 ft lbs torque) and LX600 (409 hp and 479 ft lbs of torque)
Of course that’s just speculation at this point. Not sure if the 480 hp will be standard like the 5.7 was or if it’s an upgrade package.

Why do all newer trucks remind me of what I used to build with Legos?

I expect mpg similar to the ecoboost. Maybe even a little less if this truck is heavier. Ford’s ecoboost-hybrid is posted at 24 mpg.

The LX600 is rumored to be around 30 mpg. I think it will be low to mid 20s, a big improvement compared to the current tundra

looks like an AC window unit coming down the road!
Just go ahead and throw a winch and new bumper on it and you will hardly notice.

I think this is what the 2022 Tundra front end will look like that isn't a TRD Pro.

That’s as ugly as the new Titans.

Just like every single 1/2 ton truck made today?

Word on the street is availability December 2021, and hybrid March 2022.

I will be buying a new truck soon. Not sure I want this. I don’t dislike the look but I won’t be getting the TRD pro either.
My son will be getting my Sequoia in April as he’s turning 16. Not much to be had right now though.
Sure won’t be getting a hybrid.

It’s like they hired the Chevy designers and they spit out that abomination….again.

I've had mine for 2 months now. I k ow the interior is dated, but I also know it's solid.
