I roll with a Husqvarna that isn't self propelled. I love it. Going on 4 years and it starts up every time no prob. Really nice looking cut too.

Yea I have a good bit of slope ground ive been looking at Honda HRX models which are RWD and the Husqvarna AWD. Hondas are about $200 more but its sounding like its worth the extra money

Yep, especially if you bag or mow on a slope

I'm also a lazy arse and want to be able to use the self propel function when I raise the front wheels

I like my Husq

Threw a toro in the garbage after it kept running after I tried to shut it off and eventually caught fire

I have a 20+ year old Toro that my dad bought new and other than the first time you start it in the spring it starts on the first pull. Never been worked on other than maintenance

I have a husqvarna with a Honda motor

Bought it at stines 2 years ago. Happy with it so far

The toro I had before it was a good mower too. Had it for about 12 years and only changed the oil once

I would recommend a Honda rear wheel self propelled. I used my brothers front wheel self propelled craftsman and it would slip on damp grass and the front wheels would lift up if the bag got full.

I've had my Honda for a year with no problems. I like the self-propelled system on it as well. I have a big Hill in my back yard and it has no problem going up it.

Reverse this again. RWD sucks in every way. No downside to FWD.

This will be my 7th season with my Troy Bilt from Lowes, 190cc, rear wheel drive. I change the oil and sharpen the blade every year, no issues wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

commercial cast iron sleeved Honda motor, ball bearing crankshaft .

Most of those big box store Honda motored mowers are cheap cheap. Most people just buy them because of the name not knowing what they're buying. LINK

I don't care for Honda cars much, but everything else they make is jam up. I also really like the toro self propelled mowers.

Bought a Craftsman SP 6 years ago, Briggs motor, had to replace the carb one, other than that no issues.

Meh, I bought my Honda mower from Home Depot. It's been used at least twice a week for the past 4 summers and has never failed to start on the first pull.
