Pitboss! I just bought 1 $500 so easy to use, and uses less pellets then I was expecting.

Spend the money on a ceramic grill. You won't regret it. My Primo XL can do it all.

I like my new SmokinBrothers pellet smoker. It is made in Missouri and it works great. With grill grates I never use my Blackstone anymore. I smoke my ribeye steaks for 2 hours and then reverse sear them on the grill grates after the temperature is turned up to 400.

Academy special for around $Tree Fifty

I will say, if you want to cook steak or other things at high temperature you will probably have to use the smoke box to cook it. 90% of my cooking is low and slow so no issue for me. I found I have to use the charcoal chimney to start coals. Which is also not a big deal.

I have a Pittboss. I would say that I have smoked 15ish briskets and 30ish boston butts. I need to replace it since it's 7 yrs old

22" Weber Kettle
I have the Weber Performer and there's nothing it can't cook. The vents control the temperature amazingly.
Like you said, the 22" will create a tight fit but it'll get the job done. I smoked a 13lb turkey on it for Christmas.

Masterbuilt gravity fed grill/smoker
100% this.
3 weeks ago I did a brisket for 10+ hours
2 weeks ago I did 3 pork shoulders
Last weekend I grilled burgers, pork chops, boneless pork ribs, and then cranked it up to 600 degrees to finish off with steaks.
The 200-700 degree range makes it so unbelievably easy and versatile.

Wanting something I can grill and smoke on
I haven't seen it mentioned yet but I have an Oklahoma Joe Bronco and it's been the easiest smoker to cook with that's not pellet or machine fed. It can be used as a grill too but probably not the best for a primary grill.

I’m in the same boat about one year behind you. I keep looking for a reason to replace the ugly thing and it just keeps on trucking.
I do keep my grills pretty clean

PK Grill, all aluminum will last forever. Only shortcomings, original capsule is a bit small and the cart is too short.
I’ve got the original and it is awesome, except it needs to be twice as big. The larger a version gets a little pricy for what it is.

I bought a Pitt Boss a couple of months back. LOVE it and I didn't think I'd ever convert from a stick burner. It's taking some getting used to as far as adjusting cook times and what not but I love how versatile it is and easy to keep clean.
