They teamed up with Agency arms for the plate system. It’s available in the Ronin, Operator and Emmissary.
Operator 4.25 with rail in 45 and 9mm. The Commander guns are LW with aluminum alloy frames.

Reasonably priced too. Operator is about $1100 at buds. Ronin is $800 and Emmissary is $1250. That Commander Operator in 9mm is going to be my next purchase.

Probably wasn't hard after design/building the prodigy. The prodigy overall is a little thicker but the AOS plates probably just come off the sides a shade more.

I have a Prodigy with a Vortex Defender ST. Solid rig.

That’s the great thing about capitalism. Buy what you want.

Red dots on 1911's are like pastalaya people who can't cook rice in a jambalaya.

Blasphemy. The Lord would never put a red dot on his chosen firearm.

While I agree with that sentiment, my aging eyes say otherwise. The 1911 is my favorite sidearm. If being able to put a red dot on it allows me to shoot it for a longer time then I'll go along with that.

That operator is sweet.

I still want a full size prodigy and the staccato subcompact.

I'll probably never get either, but those are the 1911/2011 that I want.

Plus you WILL shoot better. I have iron sights on guns I shoot just as regularly as my dots. I think you need to be able to shoot irons. But the dot is so much faster.

Love my Staccato P (which has a dot, deal with it ). Don't know about the compact models, but don't love that mine is a series 70 style with no firing pin/drop safety. Only worry about it for a daily carry situation where I'm handling it a lot in non range settings. It's not a huge deal , and better trigger without that mechanism, but not ideal for carry to me.

I like the look of that EMP a lot. I just love the fat slow 45ACP though.
