My BIL seems to like his. I can’t speak much on it because I threw my ear plugs in when he shot a hog, but it still seemed pretty quiet.

A friend of mine already had it on almost the same AR I have so I knew what I was getting.
It’s going to be my hog/thermal gun for busting up the woods. I wanted something shorter for that. It’s a great can for open outdoor shooting. I use it without plugs if I don’t have them on me with no issues.

Form 1 for an SBR took one day and form 4 for a suppressor took 12 days. Did everything through a local shop with no trust.

Buddy got a 300bo jakl 8.5” and asked me what can. I was gunna say get a gas less as that’s what Id like. Something like the hux, silencer co, cat but he is nervous and now I am bc he only has the 6 position gas block and after reading online it seems no one is really making and tuning jakl gas blocks and the 8 position available at psa I don’t think will work with the 8.5” barrel. He has so far not been able to actually speak with psa even though I have previously had great luck speaking with them but that was like 10 years ago.
What made you go with the dead air?
Have you found the need or found anyone willing to make a custom adjustable gas block for your jakl?

Thats way too much stress about backpressure. Buy a can and shoot it.
Ive shot horribly overgassed guns before and its not that big of a deal. He has an adjustable gas block. Between that and buffers and springs it will be able to be tuned plenty good enough even with the highest backpressure cans.

Has anyone done their trust through national gun trust? They're only $60 and you can add multiple to it for that price.
Are they legit? One of the suppressors I was looking at wasn't available on silencer shop yet with the easy trust set up they have.

yes. they're actually really active on the r/NFA subreddit answering questions. they're email response rate is also pretty quick for any questions you have.
just purchase the trust, they'll email it to you, and you go out to get it notarized. then it's 100% legal. then you can start adding items to it.

Started the process on Jan 10. Got the call today to come by and pick up. Went through Silencer Shop and local chain gun/outdoors shop. Sparrow 22.
and it works. but, more like a 1st, 2nd and partial 3rd round pop then it really is just a thud.

Should be getting my 3 CAT cans in the next few days. My buddy at the shop called me and said that the SR/A2 box was so light that he had to open it and make sure it wasn't stolen

Just had a Reaper and a Road Hunter both approved today in 25hrs from Capitol. By far the quickest ive had them come through. Both as Individual. Need to do a trust I guess and add everything I have to it eventually
