Thank you for posting I had no idea he passed. Rough few days lost my duck hunting buddy of 20 years plus yesterday as well. Prayers for Fish and his family he fought health problems for as long as all of us knew him.

RIP Fish
What was his real name? We are from the same neck of the woods but never knew his name.
Edit: Never mind I found it. Thanks.

Did anyone ever create a cd or upload a video of the build?

Driving south on 165 south of Monroe I saw a plywood pirogue strapped to a rack of a 3/4 ton Chevy, pulling a RV trailer. Reminded me of this awesome thread and wanted to bump it, Hope it was an OBer heading to put it to good use!

Hell of a bump foot. Usually I find an old thread and it's locked for whatever reason.

What a great man. He gave so much to us with ideas and suggestions.
Building those pirogues was truly an awesome experience. So glad I did it and I still have mine and still use it and think of him.
Do we have anything that survived the progress of the internet as far as his plans if we ever wanted to build more?

I believe fish’s daughter posted here right after his passing….i wish we could let her know that we are talking about him with such fond memories.

I think you are right.
I know Fish tried to lay everything out in the posts so for prosperity they could be re built. However loss of images and website failure/dissapearance over the years took most of it I think.
If anyone has something I wouldn't mind building a few more with my boys, they are the right age. I can somewhat remember how to do it by looking any mine...
I remember cutting the bow stems was a big step for him.

That MobileJosh fella follows me around and talks shite constantly. I don't know what his deal is. I feel sorry for him.
