There is no "canned" Mountain Lion hunting industry in Texas, TPWD should have told these libs to go kick rocks. Care to bet the same folks won't be back in Austin to push the lines a little further in the coming months, great example of Californians bringing their bullshite to Texas.

Take a listen here: LINK

Are there really enough lions in Texas to be shooting them?

Y’all must not have read the article. Texas allows trapping and killing lions all year long like hogs. This legislation stops that and limits when they can be targeted

Californicators screwed up their state. Now they want to do the same thing to Texas.
This is what happens when you cow toe to the environmentalists and don’t allow your biologists to run the show. And when they sue the TDFW and get millions in a settlement from some liberal judge, it just perpetuates the problem. THEM,

No it doesn’t.

It limits the amount of time you can have traps out without checking them unless you have a breakaway device.

Lions are still non-game animals and can be hunted/killed whenever seen
