Put little mesh screens (like the kind you probably got in your windows) over all of your air vents as that's how they're getting in from the attic (they're more than likely in the attic). Get high strength insecticide and a face mask/other clothing if you don't wanna get stung and just go spray the whole place down. Or call in an exterminator. Or go get some of that good stuff that shoots 15' (I think the company is like Vaq or Ortho or something), and just spray at the nest and hopefully take that out and then scrape it off when they're all dead. And make sure to patch off in the attic wherever they got in from.

Just my 2 cents, hopefully some of it's useful.

EDIT:
Also for extra protection spray that aerosol stuff that comes in a can all around your mailbox, door, anywhere you could imagine them building a nest (like around it not directly where you touch, duh).

spray the hole they are coming in and out of. Soak it down real good and you should be ok.

Could be a 1.5 story build.

How would you ever get to those areas in a two story?

Nope, it's a 2 story. I found it crazy that they would have a place in the roof that I couldn't access. Must be some work of great craftsmen of spanish decent.

Anyone ever had wasp invade their home??
I had yellow jackets build a nest in the wall and attic last summer. I had my AC replaced and the hole where the AC lines ran into the house were not sealed off properly and it didn't take long for those frickers to build a nest. I went through about 10 cans of wasp spray before I decided to buy those bug bombs and fumigated the wall from the outside where they were entering the house. I went through about 6 cans of that before they quit crawling out of the hole. What I believe is the queen was one of the last to crawl out. Luckily they did not have a chance to build anything in the attic yet, but I killed about 50 individuals up there alone. I must have killed 1,000 of those damn things after it was all over. The pic posted is what I believe was the queen

Have a story like that. Luckily it was cold because all I heard was the SOBs falling and hitting the floor of the box stand. I left everything I had in the stand and am still afraid to hunt it.

I refuse to hunt a box blind until it's been bug bombed at least twice. I climbed into one opening day before to find it full of black widders

found a wasp nest on my stand while going hog hunting back in september. decided to get down and walk down the road a little further. not 100 feet later I came upon 6 or 7 hogs and got a couple of them, wasps actually helped me out that day.

They die, stiffin up and stick to the next when you spray them with Wasp & Hornet.

To the OP,
Spray this around the overhang of your roof around your house. You won't have dirt daubers either.

I actually use Suspend SC. I had a black widow problem, they gone now. I don't have wasp or dirt dobbers anywhere else. But, my roof sophets are about 25' up. My home is 2 stories and has a 5' raised elevation. Is that stuff any better than suspend sc??
