I think I've identified 6 or 7 different bear that frequent my stand(s). they are still around and still eat a lot

In my opinion they are worse than ever. I have land in Tensas. We have seen more bears and bear destruction this year than ever before. It is more common to see a bear this year than not. They used to destroy all feeders when we could feed. Now they climb stands and tear shite up. I guess they believe food could be in the stand. I hunted last week and saw seven different bears. They seem to be exploding population wise.
