Grundens have held up well. Xtratuf had a rainbow/pride version of their boots at onetime. So i would stay away from that bs.

No doubt about it it's Wingman Waterfowl. Superior to the Grundens which are crap. Way more comfortable than the Chene and xtratuff. And you're supporting a BR guy and good dude in Lane Brazaar

I have some DiveBombs that are very comfortable and have lasted well.

My extratuffs did not last. I have a new pair of extratuffs in the closet when my DiveBombs die, but I am not looking forward to breaking them in.

Ive spent a small fortune on these over the last few years.

Xtratuff and Chene crack at the toe crease after a few months. neither will warranty that.

Xtratuff makees a super light model that will last about 45 min had a hole in it first day in the yard doing absolutely nothing!

Gruden both pair came apart on me less than a year, in one at back of sole one at front, both also cracked in various places. only one pair enough to leak but the others weren't for behind when sole gave up and i tossed

Magellan and HUK are absolute GARBAGE can material, feet sweat, sole is hard on ya foot, just not a good product.

I now have 2 pair of Lacrosse (ALPHA) both for over a year both are in great shape. one with neoprene topper are super comfortable and light

Roger sporting Goods and Gator Waders have a lower cut model that seem to be well built and i think imma grab a test pair soon. been had my eye on em for a minute.

I've had 5+ pairs of XtraTuf, 3 pairs of Grundens, and a couple of other brands. I wear them daily and I've found the Grundens to be the best balance of durability and comfort.

I tried these and wanted to like them. I felt like they were lighter/cooler than the Grundens, but a little tighter fitting. They just fell apart after about 5 months. The sole came off of one and the back pull tab ripped on the other. I went back to Grundens.

XtraTuf used to be decent but they're crap now. Durability is terrible.

I bought a pair of Marlins about 30 years ago at a bait shop in Stuart Florida because it was colder than it ought to have been and I wasn't looking to go bare footed as I had always done before while offshore. I still have them, still use them and other than being uglier than sin they still do what they are supposed to do. I have used the shite out of them. I paid about $10 for them....the same shoe is about $35 now. They fit good and are comfortable...I don't know if I would want to walk 10 miles in them but I use them while washing cars and pressure washing the driveway and sidewalks so I have worn them for 3-4 hours not on a boat and they were fine. They smell like a dead skunk but they keep your feet dry and even on bad bloody decks they are dead sticky. As soon as they wear out I will probably buy another pair and won't live long enough to wear the second pair out.....

I can’t understand how this deck boot sitch became popular fashion. You baws wearing this shite look like characters in a YETI commercial.

I fished offshore barefooted a bunch as a kid and a young man. I almost died trying to release a snake sailfish on the eastern edge of the gulf stream alone when I was about 30 years old. Barefooted. Slipped off the motor bracket and the only thing that kept me from going in all the way was the engine rigging...still had a helluva time getting back in the boat. Still fished bare footed for years after that stupid shite. Bought a pair of cheap deck boots one December due to abnormally cold temps in Stuart and have worn them ever since. I have fished out of some the most luxurious lodges in the Carribean, Central America and Mexico and some pretty swanky marinas up and down the east coast and Florida. Most of the time I am dressed like a Madeira Beach Grouper boat hand...if you know you know....I ain't overly concerned about fashion on a boat....if it ain't nasty from rigging baits and sweat it ain't mine....

I have literally tried them all or at least the major brands. I now where the Lacrosse with the tennis shoe support sole and have been extremely pleased.

I wear mine more as regular every day shoes during the rainy season than I do on a boat.

My feet stay dry. Slip on and off. What’s not to like?

Thinking about giving the Frog Toggs model a go. I like the shape of the sole/toe box.

I got away from Xtratuf. They kept splitting on the front edges after about 6 months.

This. We joke that they should be called "Kindatuff." I'll look at Grundens in the future.

I wear xtratuff because my feet are wide with high arches and I can slide in and out of them. The Grudens require my to sit and pull up the back of them as they collapse under my heel. Of all the brands which ones have the wide opening like xtratuff.
