Regardless, the snowflakes and pearl clutching and seeing what you want to see is a little much.
Getting out of the weeds, the OP’s comparison between ceremonies easily demonstrates how far media and pop culture have devolved in 40 years.
Drag queens, half naked Papa Smurf and stories about threesomes should have no place in an Olympic ceremony, yet here we are. The producer openly admitted that he appealed to “queer” people.

Sounds fine until you start trying to groom little kids.

We’ve reached a point in society where the media and pop culture don’t care about Christian values.
Ever notice that they don’t mock other religions or deities with these types of things? Why is that? Where was drag queen Mohammed?
Oh, right. This is the same city where they made a slight joke about Mohammed in a comic strip in Hebdo and someone went in and shot the place up.
The fact is that no matter how much people want to paint Christian values as intolerant, for the most part Christians don’t have a track record of responding violently en masse when someone mocks their God or their religion.

Can you imagine if they had mocked the Quran like they did with the Last Supper? Ask Charlie Hebdo about that if he was alive.

magine being so paranoid you can’t watch tv for an hour without thinking someone is peddling satanism
Just because you are comfortable with;
Trannies in a mock representation of the last supper of Christ
Golden calf representing man’s idolatry in the Old Testament
Trannies simulating threesome
Overall sexualizing with bearded and fat trannies while openly grooming kids
Overall sexualization of a sporting event for the purposes of debauchery and no real clear message other than we love satan
…doesn’t mean that everyone who is uncomfortable with it is outside the norm. In fact, I would argue that unquestionable acceptance of that freak show is an attempt to normalize destructive behavior and it is you who is the freak and pervert for accepting it.
Here’s a question; why are you okay with sexualizing and grooming children with satanic sex imagery?
Are you a child sexual predator?
I wonder what kind of images you have on your hard drive.
Perhaps law enforcement should take a look.

Great post. I enjoyed parts of the ceremony but overall it was very strange
I find it comical that the usual suspects are in the thread trying to defend the weird shite we saw

A still photo makes it seem that way, but it really didn’t appear that way live.
I watched it live and I noticed it immediately. Shortly after I stopped watching. The evil of this world is literally everywhere and the fools choose to ignore or try to play it off as something else.

For multiple reasons too, and in this instance you have twisted behavior you’re exposing them to, but more so, you are having them participate in something so insanely evil as perverting the last supper before Christ was crucified on a cross for man’s sins, and turning it into sin itself.
I mean, I’d be very concerned.

What excuse is there for such an interpretation of The Last Supper ? We’re not a few years away from the fire at Notre Dame. WTF message is being sent with this performance?

That explains why you defend grooming

Paris absolutely killed it tonight. Best summer since 1994. People are certainly having a great summer. Couldn’t even imagine being in Europe this summer. Stats say one of five Americans traveled internationally this summer. Freakin great summer.
You won’t be saying that in a few weeks. All hell is about to break loose.

It was a budget production for sure and saved them a ton of money.
The ménage a trios scene and all the gay and tranny stuff was unnecessary.
Also…the most diverse boat was the US. 90% of the other boats were homogenous.

Thought the setting of La Marseillaise was really cool and its delivery was outstanding
Also at first the torch runner kind of bothered me, but after a while kind of thought that it became pretty cool.
The Metal band with headless Marie Antoinette's was super hard core
Could have done without the gay threesome.
