The fact that various polls “disagree” so starkly sort of speaks to their accuracy, doesn’t it?

There’s a big difference between preferring other candidates and wanting a guy removed from office on purely partisan lines.

If half of Americans truly feel that strongly about Trump (hint: they don’t), he’ll certainly lose in a historic landslide in 2020.

I only pointed out that attracting a majority or the most in a plurality does not equate to winning a presidential election...a simple statement of fact. Do you disagree?

You're basically the embodiment of my point.

Didn’t work that way in 2016.

Correct. But that’s the proper way for the public to use their voice to remove a president.

That’s not what impeachment is for.

The popular vote was roughly 50/50.
Only about 50% wanted Trump in so I’d bet roughly 50% want him out now.

I am sure the OP is telling the truth about people he knows and interacts with. That idea is symptomatic of how we tend to live our lives in a bubble of people whose politics is similar to our own.

Most of my Louisiana and Texas family are NOT Trump supporters. About half are liberal-to-moderate Democrats and the other half are Republican Never Trumpers.

My friends who I see frequently are mostly Republicans with half being Trumpkins and the other half Never Trumpers.

Most of us have learned to disagree without questioning each others' loyalty or patriotism.

This.

If they can’t mobilize that 50% to vote? Or if they all pout when their favorite of the 8-10 left bows out and refuse to vote.

Interesting. Easily 75% of the people I hear say they want him gone, whether impeachment or election.

But you work for the DNC.

CWill, this will never happen.

Among this crowd, anything other than knob-slobbering Trump sycophancy will ALWAYS be interpreted by a significant majority as heart-deep devotion to the Leftmost edge of the Dem party.

It is what it is.

What blows my mind is 68% of Democrats think the economy is fair to poor. No matter your party affiliation I'm not sure how you can look at someone straight faced and say that.

Which policy positions do you identify as being part of "the Leftmost edge"?
Can you describe them?

I remember in Bernard Goldbergs book Bias
A New York Times reporter wanted to know who all voted for Reagan, who carried 49 states that election.

Never project your life for the whole country
Trump got 46 percent of the vote and has never
polled much over 50.
