Typically Republicans and Conservatives don’t want the federal government to take care of them. No Administration Republican or Democratic has stopped Illegal Immigration because neither party wants that. Only the American people can stop it but nobody is doing anything and nobody will. Have to stay inside on the couch in the ac with 200 DirecTv channels and a refrigerator full of processed foods and sodas. Americans are too soft and lazy to care.

Guards is not the correct term. Guarding the border means not allowing the illegals to set foot on U.S. soil. If they do not set foot on U.S.soil they can't file a bogus asylum claim.
