I only recently started a Reddit account and found out that it's full of left-wing loons. It's so bad, that it makes me question if there's more loons than MAGAs. I figure a fair percentage are just bots. But, there ARE a lot of simple, fricking idiots in this country that think their a lot smarter than they really are.
I try to keep my Redditing to simple non-political things such as food, cooking, etc.

I only read a couple of things like /r/AITA. I can tell that there are a lot of Asians in there based on comments about family structures that make their way into a lot of the posts.

Yeah I think a lot are bots but I don’t for sure. But it’s very easy to get banned.

Just to give you an idea of my leanings:
I am pro constitution.
I’m a strong supporter of the second amendment. I also support sensible gun control, mainly in the form of more strict background checks and waiting periods.
I am pro “the right to choose“. But only up to about eight weeks or so. Anything after that should be a medical emergency.
I am a big supporter of the right to protest, unless it involves physical violence or property destruction, or puts another person in danger. Yes I support illegal passive protests. But I also support consequences for those. The violent BLM and January 6 protests were reprehensible.
I support inclusion for LGBTQ. But not to the point of teaching it in school. Not to the point of a biological female or biological male participating in the other gender’s sports. Frankly, I don’t care how a person identifies. But I don’t think a biological male or a female should be allowed in another gender’s restroom. I like the idea of a third unisex bathroom.
I appreciate that some minority groups are at a disadvantage for various reasons. But I’m also against affirmative action.
I am a big supporter of one being able to criticize the government as much as they want. With no repercussions whatsoever, other than from others who express their opinion.
I support mail in ballots. I also support voter ID.
I support freedom of religion. Any religion. Anything related to religion should not be taught in public schools unless it’s in a history class. And in that case, all major religions should be given equal attention.
I support the right to be rude to LEO without repercussions. But I don’t recommend it.
I am pro LEGAL immigration. I support deportation of illegal immigrants. But not those who have started the process to become legal.

It may be for many progressives and their meanings may be different. But I specified mine.
So are you saying that people are much much lower SES, (majority are minority) are not disadvantaged? Because that’s what I specifically meant.
I specifically stated what sensible gun control is to me. Mainly in the form of more rigorous background checks and longer waiting periods. You can disagree. But that’s what I meant and spelled out.
Are you saying LGBTQ should be marginalized? Because not being marginalized is what I mean by inclusion. Definitely should not be given special treatment, but should be given the same opportunities as anyone else. That’s my opinion, although you can disagree.
