You don't boycott them. You take away their generous tax breaks and property tax exemptions granted to them via the respective states and municipalities. Like Delta at Hartsfield....charge them the same landing and gate fees that another non hub would. Hit their asses up for taxes and fees. Make them not so preferrential. Would be nice to see politicians make a show out og giving them back their money.....I mean bribes.

Agreed. This absolutely needs to happen. Same with sports teams and cities/states building stadiums for them. Let them move. They aren't necessary.

Republican battle with MLB intensifies

quote:

Republicans are spoiling for a high-profile fight with MLB as they ramp up pressure on the league’s commissioner to reverse a decision to pull the All-Star Game from Atlanta over the state’s new voting law.

GOP lawmakers are publicly scrutinizing Commissioner Rob Manfred’s membership at Georgia’s exclusive Augusta National Golf Club and threatening to take away MLB’s long-held antitrust exemption.

The fight is quickly spreading to other states as well, with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) saying he won’t throw out the first pitch at the Texas Rangers home opener after MLB adopted “what has turned out to be a false narrative about Georgia’s election law reforms.”

I'm saying a "boycott against MLB" likely won't happen and surely won't cause any significant changes.

No, they just let a few join.

Just like the Democrat leadership.

Then you obviously have a reading comprehension problem. It already started last year with the blm crap. Check those world series ratings. You must be pretty special.

Check NFL's new TV contract. That's a far bigger indicator t than a single playoff series.

MLB wasn't a wise target though. For being as smart as they are, some of these leftist CEO's are pretty shortsighted. Let's say they think the election was 100% fair.. The country is still like at least 49% Trump-minded.

If I'm a large stockholder of any of these companies, I'm at least a little irritated. Seems like a weird stand to make with too much risk, very little reward.

Why are these company's CEO's supporting dem vote fraud schemes? Why do they not want fair and secure elections?

I can't believe no company was smart enough to announce that they'll help anyone who needs an ID get one.

That company would stand out from the crowd, not alienate MAGAs, and would be able to say they were removing barriers. It would be great PR.

This.

If a company has made it plain to me that they don’t want or need my money, I’m not going to beg them to take it. I’ll just move on to someone who DOES want my business.

Not what the Abrams crowd wants to hear. No benefit to it for them.

Time and time again since 2010 you can saw businesses have been engaging way more in political issues and it's not causing a dent for them.

Maybe because they took a look at the demographic data and adjusted accordingly.

Not me brother. Cancelled my flight and rebooked on SW. will not go to baseball game this year.
Bought USA made socks and tshirts this week. It just takes a little attention to detail.
