sorry I stand corrected.
China is going to drive trucks through the friendly and peaceful countries (and easily drivable terrain) of Pakistan and Afghanistan and deliver missle parts to Iran who is going to safely and efficiently re-assemble these parts into a ballistic missle (while dodging the B-52 ordinance) and then place the weaponry (that we've bombed the shite out of) on the tips of said missle.
I renew my original position. All hope is lost.

Perhaps I overstate the case but I doubt the U.S. has faced a militarily superior opponent since the War of 1812 so there was never any doubt what would happen once the weapons were unleashed.
The problem is and always has been for the U.S., what happens next?
Did any of Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam even Korea result in a satisfying outcome?
I suppose we can claim a win over Grenada but offset that one with what happened to the Marines in Lebanon and later Somalia.
No question the U.S. can kick arse but we thoroughly suck at nation building and if old Bonespurs is to be believed (I know, I know) that is the plan.
IDK, maybe the blind pig will finally find an acorn, anyone care to wager with me on this one?

Get the Kurds to declare an independent province in the NW and when the Iranian army comes out, blow them to smithereens.

setting their nuclear plans back to square zero
destroying their navy
making them incapable of being the primary funder of terror proxies throughout the world
revealing who they are to Saudi and all the other countries they are pissing off by bombing.
re-breathing like in the middle east peace process that they (yes they) interrupted with Oct 7.
giving the Iranian people an opportunity to rise up and create the "regime" they would more like to see.

didn't you just say there was a "likely outcome" already baked into this equation because of our superior military foce? how does that jive with this question?

So, more chaos, likely civil war, and continued oppression of their people? Got it. Iraq, except we’re not gonna stay there and ‘Saddam’ stays in power.

Where did this data come from? What's the source other than a social media post?
eta: am I really the only person who is curious about where this info is sourced?

We’re not ending the regime with air power alone, hopefully they’ll be weak enough that the Iranians can overthrow it.

In his Saturday video, he urged Iranians to finish what the U.S. and Israel started and overthrow the government.
That sounds like a plan to me, a half-baked idea for sure, but certainly his intentions.
