Its interesting how much people are clueless of this. If you thought this was a about drugs you are a brainless retard. And so many on here did! So easily fooled. The ones who subscribe to state propaganda and never do their own research and try to expand themselves will never grow and learn. You have to be able to change the way you view the world outside of state patriotism and propaganda and enter the world of geopolitics.

They were trying to overthrow the US Dollar.

Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates have all joined BRICS in the last two years.
IMO, more and more countries are growing tired of being bullied by the Deep State controlled US military into using the dollar. They appear to be looking for a better way to conduct business than at the end of a barrel of a gun.

So true. And oftentimes I get frustrated with this board over them not having a clue about politics. But in reality, what can you expect when we are purposely bombarded 24/7/365 with Deep State propaganda?
It's both frustrating and disheartening.

There was a treaty between USA and Saudi Arabia around oil and the US Dollar in 1975. Nixon sent Kissinger in there to protect Saudi Arabia, and secure that oil would be traded in US Dollars.
Correct.
IMO, this was necessitated by Nixon completing the process of taking us off the gold standard. What that did was free up the Federal Reserve to print all the paper it wanted. It provided an endless supply of cash to not only Deep State cronies, but also flooding the world with cash...errrr...aid, so that the dollar would continue to circulate worldwide.
Combine that with the Saudi deal that gave the dollar value because you had to have it to buy and sell oil.
It was a brilliant strategy from the start, but the more the Deep State used our military to enforce this, the more countries began to back off of it.
And here we are.

I'd love for someone to explain to me who would trust these countries, even combined, over the USA in regards to currency. Lets say the collective could cover for one country of the collective that had an issue, but there's 0% chance that Brazil, China, India, Ethiopia, Indonesia, etc. could be trusted

The proposed BRICs currency is a basket of nation currencies among the BRIC members. The “unit” of currency would be 40% backed in gold and no member could print additional units without this level of gold backing in their Reserves.

They are currently in the 2nd phase of testing this Unit currency via the Shanghai Exchange.

Separately, the practice of trading gold-for-oil , without converting to USD, has been in use for at least 3 years, mebbe longer …..

They desire to circumvent US sanctions and investigation by trading outside the Swift system controlled by US.

Is a China led "deep state" preferable to a US led one in your mind?

Though oil is still mostly traded in US Dollars, except for the BRICS nations, the Petrodollar agreement was allowed to expire in June 2024 under Brandon.
From my understanding, it wasn't "allowed to expire." The Saudis simply sought other (better) deals for their oil.

It makes sense why Globalists would allow it to end.
Please explain this. Why would the globalists want it to end?

Venezuela was likely the biggest bang for the buck, so to speak, and was targeted first.
Not so. Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Libya were targeted first. We spent 20-plus years in regime change over there getting the Middle East to get back in line with dealing oil in dollars .
The whole war on terrorism was perhaps the biggest ruse in American history, and brings into question the real reasons and purpose behind 9/11.

I've never been to China and all I know about it is the propaganda I'm fed by the media. Based solely upon that, I'd say no. But again, that's not an educated guess; rather, it's just a guess.

It can no longer be denied. We were played. Our best and bravest were sacrificed and a million lives were taken over there.
I'm not sure I'll ever get over it.

NEVER FORGET!

I suppose we see the situation similarly, then. Although, I'd propose both of our guesses are at least a bit "educated." The Devil you know and all....

Do you have a credible link with more information?

There was an article about it on Al Jazeera, but they taught MSNBC to lie so it's probably false.
