I'm not letting it bother me that they said it, but it's comical that they probably had no issue having to show identification to enter Italy for the Olympics.
No one complaining about "immigration policy" actually gives two shits about immigrants (legal or otherwise). They just hate the current president.
The Obama administration had an aggressive immigration policy for a bit and no one said a word.

There is nuance that everyone here seems to fail to grasp apparently.
You can support immigration policies that are applied appropriately with respect for rights (and yes, even immigrants within our borders have rights) afforded by the Constitution. While also be highly critical how poorly the current administration is managing immigration as they violate multiple Constitutional amendments in the process.
I can want the cartel member to be deported but be critical of this administration writing an EO that retroactively stopped the legalization process for legal immigrants (recently happened here in Louisville when legal immigrants were denied their naturalization ceremony by an overnight EO and are now in “no man’s land”).

The really crazy part is that you can believe in strong boarders and removing violoent criminals from the US AND you can also believe that ICE has sometimes overstepped and hasn't really had a need to kill people.

There is something else:
Much of the US and many potential viewers have been very cold for the past three to four weeks.
Watching things going on surrounded by snow and ice are NOT pleasant, but are a reminder of what has been happening to us and our neighbors.
It's no longer pleasantly exotic, but painfully redundant.

They’re only doing this to draw attention to themselves. Before these statements, no one knew these people. Now they’re “relevant.” Next you’ll see someone take a knee or do something in “protest”
