The point is that they’re statistically shown to be a threat to human beings and you aren’t safe around them.

Geez…
I lived up there for five years. You never take any train whatsoever after 10 pm. Especially damn blue line and red line. It’s a shite show. Seen some crazy stuff on the trains even during regular work days. Even when I visit now, it’s uber or Lyft only after 10 pm.

When lefties talk about needing to expand public transit I think of things like this. I'll never take public transit in a major metro area.
Free buses means homeless people camping out, and criminals scoping out marks. The cost to ride was the only thing that kept it at bay. His words.

Public transit only works in high-trust societies. That is not quite zero percent of our cities. But it’s close.
