You are complaining its not enough

It's bewildering how people can't do simple math
These people are beyond stupid at this point

Yea...why does age matter? If you have income you pay taxes, that is how it works.
Yet you and another 48 percent of the country don’t pay a dime.

Powerman demands that you show the receipts and open the books.

You are going to embarrass yourself if you mean to argue that tariffs can replace income tax.
Why not?
Maybe not at current spending levels, but we WILL cut spending or we WILL go broke - take that to the bank.
Income tax didn’t even EXIST until after the turn of the 20th century.
You are thinking way too small.

Great. But without material income tax relief for ALL Americans this is just another hidden tax, akin to inflation.
And by the way, the proposed no taxes on income under 200 k will also be inflationary.
Congress and the Fed have to act or there is going to be another big squeeze short term that will linger longer than necessary

We're watching some on the right side of the voting median cheer a new tax and how much money it collected for the Federal Government.
Strange times.

You gotta hand it to Trump here. He's gotten his own base to cheer a tax on themselves. Hard to do in politics.

Maybe Trump can cut taxes on anyone under 500k.

How much more are you paying on your daily used goods cause of tariff taxes?
Posted on 5/3/25 at 9:35 am to SDVTiger
Not much yet because suppliers are still working through inventories. Let's bookmark this if you want to argue that your significantly higher prices aren't coming.

They’ll bring in more short term but will level off and likely decline
Also- the whole point of the tariffs is to get other countries to trade fairly with us. That includes having them remove tariffs on our stuff and we’ll remove tariffs on their stuff
And for those that won’t- the trading activity will diminish and thus, less tax revenue
The recent amounts are just initial bumps.

Please do. I cant want for you to be crying about dollars yet were all good with the last 4yrs of transitory inflation

What happened to moving manufacturing back, eliminating the trade deficit, and eliminating income taxes?

There was 2.4 Trillion generated from income tax on individuals in 2024. Please explain where your confidence in putting stupid notions to rest comes from.
