This new video further validates my point
No it doesn't.

The officer in pursuit tries to taser Rayshard Brooks (meaning Brooks had the other cop's taser.) Did the officer in pursuit know Brooks had taken it? Was he sure it was not a pistol Brooks had pulled?

When discharged, the taser makes a popping sound, sparks, and may well have been mistaken for a gun which Brooks was shooting.

So no, this new video further does not validate your point.

Should one just assume the man crazy enough to fight cops thst now has a new weapon is just waltzing away to go to bingo

Does the man have any responsibility here.

Watch the vidi dumbfrick, they let him run a ways until he raises up on them then they shoot. Let me ask you something, why do you people discern information like terrorist? Of a 360 degree world you take in about 1% of it because your mind is conditioned against reality. Why is that?
Because they are conditioned to think that the 1% of true information presented to them is enough to make their concluding certainty and omniscience valid. This is the intended conditioned kneejerk response

This is how the media has propagandized the populace, now unable as they are to discern the truth in the event it were to bite them in the arse.

I can’t believe this is even news. The dude was belligerent fighting police, stole a taser, tried to shoot them with it, got shot and killed.

This is why BLM is a joke.

They dont even attempt to differentiate between justified killings and unjustified killings.

Unfortunately cops have been so satanized by the press that this man may have been fighting demons. You can't choke hold or billy stick them although one cop looked to be doing that, so it gets out of hand and shooting happens. Wish the man would not have resisted. He would be alive today. No sense by these cops to kill him.

But as soon as they do this, their whole argument goes away.

If you read through the 1,000 people killed by police they go like this 95% of the time. “Police responded to a robbery/domestic/report of a stolen vehicle. Subject fired shots at police. Police shot subject.”

I'm not seeing the problem, the suspect has to be captured. He has a weapon, he points the weapon... he was taken out. The end.

I would say when he was wrestling with police that have guns, shooting is justified at some point as he can disarm them. Duhhhh.

You might as well defund the police because no police will be able to detain someone.

The people in this thread woefully and easily dismissing the accountability of the suspect is fricking insane. It further proves you can’t have any discussion at all.

What happened to Floyd was disgusting and should not be repeated. That’s why I am for criminal justice reform.

What happened to this suspect was justified. If he complies he easily lives today.

Now the whole entire argument is still the police are in the wrong. And honestly I’d be ok at this point dismantling every police force because there is no negotiating criminal justice reform when one side can’t even acknowledge accountability in every day citizens.

So a taser is equal to deadly force now?

FYI, Tasers are categorized as deadly weapons in some states while others have created a subcategory called “less lethal” weapons under which tasers are categorized.

To my knowledge, no state categorizes tasers as “non-lethal.”
