Everyone must be confused here. On one hand terrorists are getting fricked up, but on the other hand its under obamas watch and we hate him innately.

I don't think you have to put every news story into the 100% true or false bin. Most news stories reported in the world are not unequivocally true or false.

Where is the tinfoil part? It is a fact obama drops fliers warning ISIS several hours ahead of time if we do drop bombs anywhere near them. Thus the odds of that many casualties is really small.
it is also a fact that whenever a country goes to attack ISIS (France, Russia, etc.) they have plenty of targets to choose from because the USA isn't bombing ISIS.

Actually, the prevailing winds in the northern hemisphere blow from West to East. It really is faster and more efficient to fly W to E all the way around via great circle route.
