I think it's that he's socially awkward in a very, very big way. And just like the rest of the Left, he's turned covid into a method of avoiding responsibility and social interaction.

My step mom is vax'd, got COVID in early Sept and gave it to my dad (73 y/o) who was unvax'd. He spent a couple days in the hospital, went home on O2 and recovered. So they both have a butt load of anti-bodies and had been over the virus for 6-8 weeks by the time Thanksgiving came.
They were to go to her daughters for a holiday meal, see the grandkids, and SIL's parents, etc.
A week before Thanksgiving, they were disinvited because they wanted to be "extra cautious" since my dad and step mom had just gotten over Covid. Meanwhile everyone in that family is vax'd except my dad who now has antibodies galore. SO if they are vax'd why are you disinviting your mother?
The complete idiocy and irrational decision making is unreal. Unreal what CNN and the Feds have done to people.
