Correct, they know politicians don't have the balls to follow thru on demands and they can openly subvert oversite because they lack spine. The DOJ/FBI are daring congress to try them and the senate cucks won't back up the house.

Impeachment is warranted but it doesn't help politically. Getting all the documents released, unredacted, is what will help politically - it's also a clear oversight issue. That's why I'm pissed off at Trump for not having the docs released.
We shouldn't tolerate a lack of transparency and evasion of oversight at all, not for a minute, regardless of the party in power.

That's what the media wants you to think. That this could be used for an obstruction charge. TRUMP CAN FIRE WHOEVER THE frick HE WANTS and no one can do a god damn thing about it. You know what looks bad politically??? Being investigated for over a year and not one charge or implication has been levied against Trump. So they need to give the oversite committee the documents so we can see how the sham started and we can get rid of the special council that was levied on flimsy premises. There is no chance whatsoever of the Senate removing him.
Perhaps the hope is impeachment might give Trump cover to fire the SOB. Trump won't do that though. There is greater likelihood of him pardoning Cohen, Manifort, and Flynn at once. Rosenstein would be left in a stronger position than he is now.
In reality, Trump needs to fire Sessions, not Rosenstein. The incoming AG would takeover responsibiliy for the DOJ. Rosenstein would slip back to obscurity.
