Can passport bros get a reprieve though?

Or a quick capitulation. South America has never been good at the whole "peaceful transfer of power".
Also, the Colombian women I've known personally have been way hot.

For some it is going to be a long four years.

Retaliation relays immaturity, a response conveys strength. I get the FAFO sentiment and fully support the response and wish they'd do more to be honest.

It's an odd line he drew there. Especially given Trump's statements on the matter. But whatever makes him feel better I guess.
Since you’re such an avid supporter of these people, you should have a couple come live with your family

Random tariffs dont cause inflation, but trade wars do...

In 2021, U.S. exports to Colombia totaled $16.5 billion, a 38.1% ($4.5 billion) increase from 2020; U.S. imports
from Colombia totaled $13.2 billion, a 21.8% ($2.4 billion) increase; and the trade surplus was $3.3 billion,
almost 3 times of $1.1 billion in 2020

Trump literally says it’s retaliation
The OP didn't have that it was a tweet from some random reporter.

Tariffs and sanctions are the only peaceful negotiating levers we have. The alternative could have been to land the military plane anyway and dare them to shoot at it.
What’s your plan?

You act like Columbia is China.
You act like Columbia shouldn't take back their citizens.
You act like this isn't a strong warning to others.
You act like you wouldn't send them back.
You act like you have a better idea.
Please if you do tell us.

How can you love him more than you do now
I don’t want to speak for others
But I’ve been dreaming of this type of leadership for decades
And it’s instant
Not waiting for years to respond

Quite ironic that MAGA wants to hurt US producers with trade wars.
"Crushing" Pan American countries just means you'll end up with many of their people in the USA.

LOL, zero F's to give. He can't resist when the opportunity to throw a few jabs presents itself.
Saw it with Newscum in CA, too. He's been torching Gavin for a year and only ramped it up after the CA fires broke out, and then Gavin was right there when AF1 touched down, to kiss the ring. Trump Round 2 is already glorious, and might end up being the most entertaining four year stretch in modern history.
Love him or hate him, no one with any modicum of intelligence can deny that Trump is VERY good at being a prime alpha. He will drag ballsack all over these people and they have no choice but to take it.

First, Roger will whine about it.
Next, he will cry about it.
Thirdly, he will gripe about it.
Finally, he will complain about it.
